The Wee Book Company

This book is OUR LABOUR OF LOVE! We have for a good while wanted to bring Burns to a wider audience, bringing snippets of his hilarious wit, his gutwrenching passion and his heartaching obsession into a
collection which is genuinely easy to read by all.

This Wee Book combines well kent and lesser known phrases, poems and songsto give folk who might not be
familiar with his work just a wee flavour of the genius that was Robert Burns. We felt that it was important to include some context to Burns's work and so this Wee Book contains a love letter to Jean Armour, Burns's strong and very
clever wife, a truly remarkable person in her own right, as well as mention of those who featured so prominently in his life such as his teacher, his father, his literary contemporaries and of course, his ladies.
